Mr. Lamey is responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as strategic planning for the portfolio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Lamey began his real estate career in 1990 with a regional commercial real estate firm in Santa Clara, California.\u00a0 He later moved to CB Commercial in San Jose, before returning \u201chome\u201d to the Pacific Northwest as the Acquisitions Manager for a publicly traded company in Portland where he was responsible for the site acquisition and entitlement of several projects.\u00a0 Over the years, Mr. Lamey has been responsible for the operations of large multifamily communities, class A &amp; B commercial office buildings and luxury senior living communities in the Western US.\u00a0 Today Mr. Lamey actively participates in the acquisition and development of new opportunities for BPM, as well as overseeing the property management operations for BPM\u2019s multifamily, commercial and senior living assets.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Lamey is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Finance.\u00a0 He is involved in several industry trade organizations and has served on advisory boards and operational leadership committees over the years.\u00a0 He began his career at BPM in 1996 working for Regent Assisted Living, before moving to Bowen Property Management in 2000 and then to BPM in 2003.\u00a0 From 2012 -2016, he ran a Portland based senior living company for Fortress Investment Group (FIG) before returning to BPM in 2016.\u00a0 Mr. Lamey has over 30 years of experience leasing, selling, developing, acquiring and operating real estate investment properties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dan Lamey is the President and COO of BPM Real Estate Group.
